You can disable notifications from a particular website, or you can disable the website notification system yourself. This will ensure that you do not encounter annoying notification popups.
The steps to do so are quite different on Android and desktop apps. We will cover both platforms below.

Microsoft Edge allows it possible for you to subscribe to website updates. Many websites will automatically show a notification request pop-up, and all you have to do is hit the “Allow” button (which is easy to do by accident).
You can disable these notifications or turn off popups from the browser settings menu itself. Open the Microsoft Edge app on Android and tap the 3d menu button from the toolbar below. Here, select the “Settings” button.
Tap on the “Site Permissions” option.
Select the “Notifications” option.
You can also see a list of all the websites that will give you updates. Select the specific website for which you want to disable notifications.
Tap on the “Clear and Reset” option.
This clears the default settings for notifications and website cache. To confirm, tap the “Clear and Reset” button from the popup.
